Victoria Day is a Canadian holiday celebrated each year on the Monday before May 25 in honor of Queen Victoria. It is also the official birthday of Canada’s monarch. Victoria Day is also informally considered to mark the beginning of the summer season in Canada.
Quebec’s National Holiday

Originally a religious holiday celebrating the birth of Jean Baptiste. In 1834, it became the national holiday for French Canadians. In 1925, the Quebec legislature declared June 24 a statutory vacation, and in 1977, an official government decree declared it Quebec’s national holiday.

Quebec Mega Trail

The QMT is one of Canada’s finest ultra trail races. Made up of wild and spectacular courses linking the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River to the two most famous mountains in the Capitale-Nationale region, the Massif de Charlevoix and Mont Sainte-Anne.
The mythical Sentier des Caps, the indomitable Mestachibo trail, the Jean-Larose waterfall and the Crête du Mont-Sainte-Anne will fill you with wonder.
Novena Feast Sainte-Anne

We are pleased to invite you to mark your calendars for this very special time when pilgrims and visitors from all over the world will converge on Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.
It is followed by the Feast of Saint Anne on July 26.
Loto-Quebec Fireworks Shows
Every Tuesday and Thursday from July 31 to August 21, plus the grand final on Saturday, August 23.
Every summer, the event features six major pyromusical shows fired into the heart of the St. Lawrence River, bringing together the cities of Quebec and Lévis. Since 2017, the quays have come alive an hour earlier to get thousands of spectators dancing under the stars, and then thrilling under the fireworks that illuminate a masterful backdrop. In 2019, the Grands Feux Loto-Québec celebrated its 25th edition. Fireworks enthusiasts will be in for a treat during all the visual presentations!
Nouvelle-France’s History Festival

With a historical and festive ambience unrivalled in North America, gourmet activities and some 400 shows, events, re-enactments and lectures, the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France is a joyous celebration of a historic period during which Quebec City played a major role on the continent. Festive, historic and gastronomic are the three words that best sum up the event.

Mont Sainte-Anne UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

Mont-Sainte-Anne will host the finals of the UCI WHOOP Mountain Bike World Series, featuring 3 events: short-track cross-country (XCC), downhill (DH) and Olympic cross-country (XCO), all in a festive gathering packed with action, activities, parties and more!
More than 600 athletes from over 30 countries, representing more than 100 teams, will take to the starting line for the various competitions.
Canada Winter Games
February 26 to March15, 2027
The Canada Winter Games will be held in Quebec City, and this 31st edition marks the return of the Games to the Quebec capital, where they were first held in 1967.
The Games will give young athletes in 21 disciplines the chance to live out their passion for sport in complete safety as they take to the streets of Quebec City.
Citizens will have the opportunity to see Canada’s finest athletes in action at breathtaking sporting venues.
